This is a nice calendar for a great price but in the picture it looked like it was more of a flip book. It is really just a normal full-size calendar for baby's first year.

I was a bit disappointed with this calendar. First, since the calendar is to record the baby's first year, there should be 13 monthly pages, instead of the 12 that are in the given calendar. The first month of the calendar should be the baby's birth month, then subsequent pages for the following months, and then the baby's birth month again to be able to write things right up to the first birthday. Second, each monthly page should be able to accommodate thirty-one days written in, even if the first day of the month starts on a Saturday. I had to write boxes on a few of the months to accommodate all the days.
Overall, I was not pleased with the thought that was put into creating this book.

I was a little disappointed in the paper quality of the outer cover. I was expecting a heavier weight paper. The calendar is cute and I like the idea to use footprints or handprints for a keepsake cover. I just hope the calendar will hold up with the lighter weight cover.

The no-touch ink pad is genius - I've been looking to find more to use on cards and scrapbooks, but I can't find them anywhere. It was no-mess and created a great keepsake. I love the cover of the calendar and the opportunity to personalize it each month with pictures. I also like that there is room at the bottom of each month to write about memories made that month. My only "complaint" is the stickers. If you are looking for "cute," these are not the stickers for you - and they are large, so there is no room to write any additional information about that day. If you are looking for classic and pretty, this is a great calendar and I would recommend it.
