Customer Reviews: Very different from other quiet books.May 9, 2010 Dee Berline(Anchorage, Alaska) This book was so different. It did a page at a time not a whole book. It had a lot of good ideas that were far different than other books. Lots of different things for different ages. Very inventive.

I loved this book! I couln't disagree with the previous reviewer more. It's true, there are no boring lacing and buttoning pages. Who wants that? You can find that anywhere. This book was full of creative new ideas that are sure to delight any young child. The excellent directions and photo instructions were very well done. This book was great for the examples given but I found it to be a springboard to my own ideas as well. This book was a wealth of information that has me collecting my own supplies so I can get started! Weird, applique and quilting stuff? I didn't find that. It has clear photos showing even the craft challenged that it can be done with basic sewing skills. Even a non-sewer could do this with some fabric glue. No, I'm not some friend of the author. I really loved this book. I would highly recommend it!

I was looking for a book with ideas & instructions for quiet books & found this before it was even released & pre-ordered it & was so anxious to get it in the mail. It was a huge disappointment. It didn't have much at all in the way of traditional quiet book stuff (you know the ones where you lace up the shoe or button the button). It was weird quilting/applique stuff that didn't have much to do with interactive quiet book stuff at all. If I can find it I'll post some pictures. If you still think you want it buy mine! I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I think there was 1 idea or 2 in there that I thought I could adapt. I wish I had my money back though!
